About Us

As a single mom of 3, I’m constantly dealing with the ever changing basic struggles of life. Aside from the ordinary woes, I also maintain extra care for my youngest daughter who has a rare disease known as Pompe. It’s a glycogen storage deficiency caused by a mutation of the GAA gene that is supposed to allow the body the break down complex sugars in the body’s skeletal muscles. People with this unfortunate condition face major muscle loss/weakness which affects their mobility, speech, breathing, and in some cases(such as my daughter Harmony’s ), heart function. It’s been a long continuous journey for us, as there is no cure available, but thankfully there is treatment(weekly Infusions indefinitely), and early detection with newborn screening(in some states) which has literally saved Harmony’s life for the past 5 years.

I started this business not only as a means to support my family, but also to spread awareness of this disease and to assist and contribute to the research of better treatment options and hopes for a cure. With that being said, I plan to donate 10% of all proceeds from Harmonious Triumph to Duke’s ever-so appreciated research team. As this business grows, as will my contribution. My goal is to add a bit of “Harmony” to others' lives with every purchase, and to show the world that with a bit of patience and harmony, we all can TRIUMPH in this journey called life.
